Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is in Pendik on Istanbul's Asian side. Journey times to Kadıköy, Maltepe and Ataşehir depend on traffic, while crossings to the European side are particularly affected by bridge congestion.
To the Asian side
Pendik, Kartal, Maltepe, Kadıköy and Üsküdar are among the more direct destinations. Allow extra time during morning and evening rush hours, especially along the D-100 corridor.
To the European side
Transfers use a Bosphorus bridge according to the destination and traffic conditions. Allow more time for Taksim, Beşiktaş and Sultanahmet, particularly during busy periods. Check whether bridge and motorway tolls are included in the quote.
